SCB offers annual fee waiver for some cards on the basis of spends during the previous memebrship year. Anyone knows how is it computed ie if I received card on Aug 4, billing started Aug 6 then what will be the duration of membership year?

It will be 1 year from card received date.. and it should not matter much unless until you made a big purchase at the end of year in order to avoid the annual charges . You can double check with customer care too .

Thanks. Generally doesn’t matter but snapdeal offer made it matter for me. Else would have delayed the purchases to next month.

1 year is from card issued date but charges are usually levied on billing / bill generation date.
head.service usually provides to the point answer but seems those too are not giving you correct clue.
