Don’t waste money on extended warranty, Both company and third party warranties will cost the same as a paid service in the name of replacement of parts. Both AMC (annual maintanence contract) or extended warranty is not suitable for individuals. LG itself have a decent paid service backup even after warranty period, so if it is LG you no need to worry about service backup.
Not worth. Firstly lg is better in giving extended warranty,
2ndly lg. Refrig does not run in problem for yrs

Not always true. One of a top end LG refrigerator we bought for our home in Kerala conked off in exactly 14 months. LG technicians and customer support were unhelpful. Eventually a local tech fixed it.

Have a LG Microwave from 2010 which went kaput 3 months back. LG doesn’t have the service parts.
Thanks for the responses. And yes I have gone through TnC in detail. Extended 2yr will have comprehensive coverage just like in first year. Only physical damage is not covered.

sorry to hear that , smtyms it happens
I have never heard/read about good experiences from these 3 party extended warranties (even company extended services are not good many a times). They would have sneaked in some T&C or they might even blatantly refuse to provide service giving non-sense reasons. If you are buying one make sure you read the T&Cs and ask for clarifications.
