How is the delivery to tier2 tier3 cities working?

Most of the delivery in tier2- tier 3 is delivered from a warehouse in tier -1 city. Without flight and railways. Many of such deliveries will be delayed or canceled.
I too ordered some medicine from netmeds 4-5 days back but it is not yet delivered. Normally it is delivered in 3-4 days.

Netmeds uses surface delivery from chennai to bengaluru (got my order delivered in days) but it might change if the distance between the source n end point is huge or because of the current delays. If its getting too late, contact them >> cancel/reject >> re-order

I will purchase from local if the status does not change.
