Hi just want to know how much a mobile operator looted from your balance with wrong deduction ?
Did you got return ? What process you follow up ? Any reason & apology provided ?
I got this question cause , I use BSNL 3G sim card . Last week even my data pack is on & having around 500 mb data left in it , i just browsed DD from my cell phone for around 2 minits & then turn off data i got charged for 1826.75 rupees. Got on screen message of rs1826.75/- for last call charge. I lodge complaint to customer care immediately , then filled there grievance form online & next day in local office complained same. They checked the details & found it is wrongly charged & asked me to wait for 2/3 days. Then they mailed to alcatel that 1826 rupees is wrongly deducted wrongly & asked to refund earlier .After 2 working days i got refund of 1826 rupees in balance but no reason or apology provided by them. And not refunded my 0.75 rupees 
Many time i got wrongly charged for 5/10 rupees but never bothered because of our great paytm/groupon time.
Did you experienced same ? Anyone complained to TRAI ? Thinking to do it as BSNL should not do it again with any other but in doubt is my email & number remain private there after there show last time . 
BSNL just deducted 25 rupees from balance for internet use , though data pack is on & valid with data in it . Customer care booked complainted & said within 24 hour you will get refund .
As of prepaid card if balance reaches 0 then call get disconnect if on. And we can’t go in negative balance . Then why for data they charge from balance ? Isn’t it like prepaid thing , where we paid there fee for some amount of data . So isn’t it suppose that they disconnect data when they got info we exhausted it .
in Aircel, the sim which one don’t use regularly and keep it idle,from that sim Aircel deducts balance for whatever no reasons.And when you complain then they will tell that 24 hours before balance have been deducted now they can do nothing.
Best is to transfer balance from secondary sim to main sim,you will loose some balance while doing this but it is much better than giving these looters our mobile balance.

yeah even for me also… dont remember amount.. near 200-300 in the name of 10 or 20 VAS etc.. they say some lame reason.. stopped using it.. some times it happens in idea, airtel,docomo.. no strict laws from TRAI that might be the reason

MTNL Rs 120 To Rs 0 (Recharge activation was completed late by 5 min)
Airtel Rs 500 to Rs 300 (Forgot 3g activation)
Airtel Rs 50 to Rs 0 (Forgot 3g activation)
Reliance Rs 600 to Rs 0 ( That 3g +2g combo)

Yes, AirTel, the king of looters I think.
In 2004, my balance was around 600, next morning, 350. Called CC, was told I used GPRS and downloaded games from AirTel Live store (something like that, don’t remember what that shite was called). I said I didn’t do it, I didn’t even know how to do that, they said no, they can’t be wrong. Then called second time (that time I was a student, 250 rupees meant quite a lot to me), they threatened that if I call again they will send a lawyer to my home. Told that to mother, she called then and requested them to kindly send that lawyer, whom I still expect honestly.
Did I get any refund? Of course not.
What was the solution? Ditching that fraking piece of shite company and moving to Vodafone (technically Hutch back then). And I have been more than happy for past 10+ years.

Well I seen to hv fared quite well in this regard so far. In any case it will take months to transfer balance from one sim to the other considering the max. Rs 100 transfer limit in most operators besides hefty deductions.

Same here. According to some blogs this aint working since 2013. I hv a hard time using up my Reliance balance considering the cheap voice packs and piss poor internet(no 3G and cant latch onto Aircel/Tata Docomo networks either).

Airtel happily ate up all my talktime with useless VAS packs(not automatically activated but designed in such a way that one would accidentally activate them plus auto renewal). Well I got more than my money’s worth since then by using free unlimited 3G. In my experience Aircel! has been the best(no deductions,fantastic 3G/2G besides free, cheapest call rates, packs etc). I miss them.
The worst of all is Airtel. Looted regularly, never refunded. Finally stopped using. And now Airtel is one of my most hated brands, for many reasons, including net neutrality.
Then Docomo started the loot. But managed to get refund every time.
No such experience with Uninor. Relatively much better network than both Airtel and Docomo with cheapest tariff.

Don’t trust recharge sites.. always confirm with CC or operator website (take screenshot ) and then proceed to recharge.
The thing is these online recharge sites cannot reverse any transaction once done, either you or the recharge site has to pay for this in case you didn’t verify beforehand..
