How to backup all chats + images of whatsapp & SMS?

WhatsApp reduces the quality if images and videos. They reduce the size of media files by lowering quality.

If you want to keep pictures or videos of trip then share it via Dropbox or Google photos.

Bachup your WhatsApp account with Google drive. All chats n media is synced with Google account and can restore n delete WhatsApp as many times as you want. And for sms backup n restore there are hundreds of apps in playstore.

About deleting the accounts and not able to see and read the messages later…

That’s honor based system. There is no absolute way of knowing if he is not already backing up chats automatically on WhatsApp server or MI cloud or similar cloud backup service. Also he may have been using any other app to record messages.

If you are not comfortable letting him see your pics and messages then don’t use his phone.

I keep an app in my phone which records all the messages from all apps in my phones so even if I delete some sms accidentally or message on WhatsApp or sender deleted it intentionally after 5 second of sending the message. I can still see them all whenever I want.

The best way is to factory reset his phone and use for it then again factory reset it when you hand it over.

as already Roushh bro said..whatsapp reduces the pictures size so in turn it affects the quality!! Better to use instagram and share with the world of your old age adventures
