How to convert lcd monitor to tv without using computer

Hi, Anyone knows how to convert the lcd monitor to tv without using the cabinet.
I have LG monitor which is about 5 years old and works great. Since i don’t use the desktop anymore and in need of a small tv, i would like to know whether this can be converted into a TV with remote.
