If you are on android then use SMS Organizer app by Microsoft. It won’t stop the spam sms but it would not send any notification on receiving

It’s from Microsoft made specially for India. Best point is that it doesnt upload the sms to their servers like other similar sms apps. Block the senders you want and the app has options to automatically deleted the blocked sms. You can configure. You wont get annoying notifications and you still access to these sms until deleted. I have been using it since 3-4 months and it hasn’t disappointed till now.

Use microsoft SMS organiser. It will at least reduce the pain and irritation as all such sms will go to a separate tab.
As I recently found, it is also very useful in backing up sms and restoring them in a new handset, even if the handset is of a different make and brand. Can be a lifesaver if your phone suddenly dies on you.

Here is what I did to get rid of the annoying Coolwinks SMS. I called up the customer care number 0124-444-5800. After few minutes of annoying music, customer executive picked up. I vented out my frustration and demanded immediate action. After about 12 hours, I got a message saying you will no longer receive alerts. It has been 2 days and so far so good.

Just login to your coolwink account and change the number to some fake number. It will not ask any OTP to change. This way you will not receive any spam msg from them

I came here hoping to find an answer to the question of the OP only to come up with one all by myself. I haven’t used coolwinks much except to check it out the first time, but ever since then I’ve been a victim of their SMS spams.
Here’s what I did:
Goto their website or install the coolwinks app. Head over to your profile settings and just change your number that is linked with the coolwinks account. That’s it. Done. They won’t ask you to verify the new number with OTP so just type in some bogus 10-digit number. Worked for me. Peace.

Changing number doesn’t work.. they’ll keep sending messages to old number..

Best way is , write them a strong letter. Tell them you have only 2 eyes, you can not buy spectacles daily. Ask them to stop stupid mails and messages. Tell them if they don’t remove your number from mailers list, you are going to delete account.

This worked for me.

Deactive cool wink account

Block the sms through your sms app. OR tweet to coolwinks. I tweeted and it worked. In my wife’s phone I blocked them via sms organizer.

Just email coolwinks. For me it did stopped sending. Just mention ur mobile number in context
