Add Mobile Number in Aadhaar Card – Step by Step Registration Process

Download the aadhaar card correction application Form – https://uidai.gov.in/images/UpdateRequestForm...df

Once downloaded, take the print out. The form will look like this :Aadhaar Card Correction Form

In the first option – Mark the “Mobile” Option

Enter your aadhaar number

Enter the name,address as mentioned in the aadhaar card

Now in the Mobile number section, enter the mobile number that you want to add in aadhaar card

Also provide email id(It is not necessary but you are advised to provide it)

You are advised to attach the photo copy of any of the document that proves your identity. Do not forget to write your aadhaar number in the attached documents as well. Write the name of the document you have attached

In the end, you need to sign the document or provide your thumb print

Once this information is filled double check the filled information.

Now you need to send the application via post. Details of address mentioned below.

Step-by-Step Addition of Mobile Number in Aadhaar Card
The first step to adding your registered mobile number in your Aadhaar Card is to visit the Aadhaar Card website and download the correction application form and get a print out of the same. You are required to provide a few details as requested by the form, including your name, gender, date of birth, address, mobile number and email address. At the top of the form you will find a ‘Field for Update / Correction’ in which you must tick ‘Mobile’, following which you must enter your Aadhaar number in the space provided.

In the section that requests for your mobile number, enter your registered mobile number that you wish to link to your Aadhaar Card . It is recommended that you also attach a photocopy of an ID document and ensure that your Aadhaar number is mentioned in said document/s. Once you have entered the necessary details, you will have to sign the form or provide a thumbprint after which you may send the application through post at the address provided below.

Once the form has been sent, you will have to wait for a few days as the authorities will take some time to cross verify your identity. Simply visit aadhar center and pay 100rs .. ur mobile number will be updated in 2-3 days max 20 days

mobile numbers can be updated on the aadhar website – no charges have done it recently… if one needs to get it added for the first time in the database then i am not aware if there are any charges
