There is a trick, but sometimes not working and you will lost your card.

After billing, call customer care and tell them to close your account, because you don’t want paid cards. They will take request.

After few days you will get call from backend team, they will offer you LTF or fee waiver.

It worked for my friend who take risk. But always not working.

Dear Cardholder, your SBI Card ending **** is eligible for Annual Fee waiver of Rs 499. The same will be credited to your card account within 30 days.
