I have very old phone which uses Vodafone miniSIM card. How do I exchange it for nano/micro-SIM with adaptor so that I can use this SIM card in both my old phone and any new phone that I buy?

Thanks Bro for detailed reply. KG.
EDIT: Oops, cannot give karma again
You never kept any of the adapters from other SIM’s you got? Look on the ground outside sim stores.. You will find a bunch of them people throw out. They all pretty much fit each other. I move around all 3 sizes often and keep a bunch of spares around. Found a bunch rummaging outside the store at night looking for a place to sleep…
No, I never kept those adapters + i dont know how to cut the big sim into small sim myself.
.
And What is the story of a superb english speaking all-knowing philosopher sleeping outside near random shops?
Go to vodafone store, say that you need to replace as 4g sim. They will replace it for free (local shop dealers will ask 20-50 rs)
They will give you a new sim and a sms format which you need to send from your old sim card..
You will receive a msg from vodafone that expected time to change your new sim
On that time your old sim card will loose its tower and you need to insert new sim and it will get activated.
(New sim can be used as mini/micro/nano type.. so no issues)
