how to use/sell/exchange a phone with broken screen

I recently put my redmi1s down and screen glass got broken and display is blank.
Can you guys let me know how to use/sell/exchange the phone with broken screen

As of now using the screencast option of mi app and accessing the phone via computer?
any better solution to repair?(which part to buy) or to sell.
Please help.
