How to use UPI?

Create an emaiid like reference & link to your bank account.. say, like [email protected]. Now this is your UPI id. If someone has to send you money, they can transfer money to [email protected]. Similarly, if u have to pay someone, u use their UPI alias and send to them. Transfer happens immdtly. You can transact through your hdfc bank mobile app (or your other bank app or some third-party app like phonepe). There is a mpin for your safety/security.. You can transfer to someone in various forms (using their aadhar, Mobile no etc.. but not sure if they work as of now).

You can send money (like mentioned above), you can also demand money using the collect feature.. e.g. you have raised and invoice to your customer.. you can raise an UPI collect request to collect the amount from your customer.
