Hows your experience with HDFC credit card transaction dispute resolution

Guys… Please tell your experience with HDFC/any bank credit card dispute resolution process and experience.

I recently raised dispute with HDFC and waiting for the resolution from them for couple of transactions with Flipkart where transactions failed but amount got charged and came in bill as well ..no cost emi also trigged for 3 month emi option which I selected during transaction !

I guess this is your situation.
Flipkart says payment not received, so order is not successful. And HDFC says flipkart has successfully claimed the amount?

I recently had this situation. I had my gala time with flipkart customer care over this and simultaneously raised a dispute transaction with HDFC. HDFC provided a temporary credit and said it will be withdrawn if the dispute is not in my favour. Eventually flipkart realized that they need to refund, and issued the refund. HDFC then took back the temporary credit provided.

The whole process took about 2 weeks time with daily calling flipkart cc and giving my peace.

Exactly same process with Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card. I paid 685 rs for gas cylinder on Indane website and payment failed. I got the email that I will receive the refund in 7 days which I didn’t get.

So I called Indane and they said they didn’t receive the payment. I again raised a support ticket and got the same reply. So I took that info to ICICI bank and raised a dispute. They asked me support ticket number too to add it in the dispute description. And they gave me temporary credit of 685 rs. Indane fixed the issue this time and refunded the money. Took nearly 10-12 days in the whole process.

Yes … exactly similar situation, HDFC now gave me temp credit and said max by Aug month end.. disputes would be clarified.. Merchant (Flipkart) cant deny this dispute as they dont even have valid associated orderid with these failed transactions wink .. Hoping that they would resolve soon .. now that the dispute would be solved by HDFC, I stopped calling both HDFC and Flipkart ! Do I need to call HDFC and check progress or they do on their own ?
