I received the given text today (See Screenshot). However, I have not booked any uber. To check if anyone hacked into my account and took a ride, I checked past rides in Uber app but still found no recent unusual ride. The message tells user that if he/she wants to stop, he/she needs to sms STOP to this private number. I think this is some kind of scam text made to fool people who will sms STOP hurriedly hoping to stop someone misusing their app (However I am not sure still). Maybe smsing STOP will trigger some script that give this number access to some account. Beware guys! What do you think?

bro i think this message comes when v login using mobile number… somebody may have typed wrongly is d high possibility
Yeah this seems right as it happens many times when we put a wrong mob. no. I also used to think what the guy whose no. Was that will think.
But i dont understand why unsubscribe option. I guess we can’t unsubscribe to login OTP.
No of greed & sue msg I received regularly.
I Am now familiar/aware of such msgs & hence avoid these msgs.
This is not a scam , its a genuine message .

This Is Genuine Msg. This Is For OTP. Someone Might Be Trying To Enter Into Your Account Or Might Have Entered Wrong While Log In Which Sent This Msg To You.

I hope so. But that unsubscribe link is weird. Why someone unsubscribe from OTP?
