First register your ICICI Gift card & note down all relevant details of the gifter then call up ICICI customer care to ensure & update mobile number for OTPs & then add to paytm. Date of birth should be 01/01/1947 by default

I was able to use a ICICI Gift Card on Cred via transactions under 1000 only.
