i was trying to buy an app worth Rs 367 from google play using pockets account . but entering all the info google play is giving an error as " invalid cc no " has anybody used it to buy apps. not working for me

None of the indian virtual cards will work on aliexpress except international ones like entropay and all

I am thinking of using entropay….Have u used it? What are the charges? My item cost is $15…What will be my final cost after all charges?

4.95% is the fees on loading amount….
i have not used it personally but they work everywhere…..

@batman which bank account u have? icici citi SC kotak hdfc axis indian bank …. debit card of all these bank works if they are activated for international access….
i would recommend if you can find someone with hdfc bank account bcoz their netsafe vcc works for international transactions….

You should have known better…I have SBI VISA debit….But I can definitely use my friend’s HDFC credit card…How much will it be charged?

K…My product is only $20…So I think I will be charged only around 60 INR, which I can afford.

Not correct, bro. Indian banks charge about 3.5% as foreign currency conversion fees for debit/credit cards. Most include it in the INR converted amount, while some might be listing the charges separately.

I’ve doubt. We get extra charged only if we are transacting on Dollars or etc right ? At both paypal & google we are transacting on Indian RS ?

Yes, the term “foreign currency conversion” fee should be self-explanatory. If the site you are transacting on is showing and charging the amount in INR, then your Indian bank won’t charge anything extra.

Did you ever compare the difference between their forex rate and the market forex rate? They probably price-in 3% to 5% forex fee when displaying the prices in INR.
@DealSeeker you are correct there is conversion fees…. i was also charged 30rs extra…. product was worth 8.50$…. was charged 591rs instead of 561
