Ideas for a wedding gift
Hey guys,
Not sure if it is good to ask here. I am very confused and thought I might get some help / ideas here. I want to buy a gift for a friend who recently got married.
My friend is Bengali Hindu, I know little about Bengali culture. Just want to be unique or at least good; if unique doesn’t come in my budget LOL 
. I have been Googling for some time.

Why not a champagne ??
We (couple) have taken our friend /couple to a nice hotel for dinner with live music.
It was a memorable experience.
And gift in kind could be less than 1k , unless you are pretty sure it is not doubled and couple will remember and cherish it.
I think Couple Watches is also a good idea.

1)bank gift card( with nice print) with a value that fits your budget.
2)kitchen utensils, ex: a nice induction/gas cooktop. Pressure Cooker, roti maker, lunch box,kettle etc, make sure it is useful for them if you want to gift . You can combine these.
3) some kind of jewelry to both husband and wife such as bracelet, watch etc.
4) a good & efficient electric appliance fan, water purifier etc.
You can add anything to the list but it depends on economic status of the person you’re gifting & their likes & dislikes.
Gift should be like, Not to embarass them, neither to realize their weakness. It should help them in some way or it should make them feel good & positive.

The best wedding gift is tell her about ur history and then there will be no history ever.
On first Anniversary, you can gift divorce which is most precious thing women can get as this entitles her for alimony.
