My neighbour has illegal construction what is the criteria of " illegal construction " in Delhi MCD.
my friend told in delhi if you have higher building from 49 foot its illegal in terms of Delhi MCD is it right ?
where i complain for this issue.

Right, reporting anything wrong is mostly a pain with our current system
…if he doing some extra construction and its not related to your structure let it be…the thing is almost 60% people have illegal or unauthorized construction..
…Look at DDA flats..everyone have constructed 1 extra room…so 2bhk turned into 3bhk…n so on….
….but free advice….if you complaint in writing (not advisable)….they have to take action….action can range from extorting extra money from them or razing some part of their house or temporarily stop construction work….but still I would suggest use ur discretion and take action….
He has 5 floor where as delhi mcd given only 4 floor permission to delhites . I am thinking to write letter against him and send to mcd office.

Unless it’s a problem to you personally, I’d avoid it. You’ll make a permanent enemy & depending on how rich they are → a lethal one.
It’s not easy to be a law abiding citizen these days because our society & corrupt system actively discourages truth & honesty, only might is right 
So be careful & think twice about what you’re doing, if not for yourself everyone around you too.

tried again next day, was asked to give TWO bottles 
upon asking why, were told: odd-even dates 
You should better visit to MCD to get closer idea of rules .
They will suggest what to do better then here .
And do your actions asap , because its peak season to do workout from government , after elections it will more hard to do so.
Drop a complaint to delhis muncipal corporation. If no solution, file a petition. Even that doesn’t helps, report to pms grievance portal. Even that doesn’t help, pm me your complain ids with all the proofs.
AFAIK it is upto 15-17 meteres but no one follows these rules.. Anyhow If someone is doing illegal construction he will give officials some bribe and no one official will disturb them again… Curruption….
