Agents and pimps don’t want to leave anything to chance and verify customers’ identity with Aadhaar card to ensure they are not police decoys.

How silly.. how will they verify if
a) Aadhar is valid n not fake?
b) How can they identify a police officer with help of Aadhar?
Just doesn’t make sense. In the story, they write they verify location, hotel details, surroundings etc but nothing about verifying Aadhar. If pimps n postitutes start doing Aadhar verification with finger prints or OTPs, we surely wd be “digital India”
This is just another of TOIs twists to the story to make sensationalize it (as usual).
