I read somewhere as per sugoli sandhi this area is actually part of Nepal. They were weak then so had given that area to India only for security of India & Nepal both but the problem is road was getting constructed from many months so what was Nepal Government doing till now!

There was a time when Nepal was true friend on india but not since last few years.

It’s like some unwritten rule that don’t dole out freebies too much otherwise people will start proclaiming sole beneficiary rights to your beneficence.
I think Nepali govt might be scared that if all Nepali people working in India comes back to their homeland and Indians don’t employ them back later then they will have severe socio-economic crisis in future which will also upset their political environment as well.
