Try this if you know all the required details: http://ccc.cept.gov.in/ComplaintRegistratio...px

You got slightly better chances of resolution if you were the sender. Don’t know how they will respond in this case. What’s the delivery address? And which category of shipment is that, Speed Post-COD or something? https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_confused.gif

Amazon was the sender , to the said pin code IP generally takes 7-10 days for delivery .. looks like they lost the shipment .
No point contacting amazon , as maximum they can issue the refund … and that will happen in the end .

Around 20% of amazon orders are delivered to me by indian post last year. The good thing is I got all items even LED bulbs came safe https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif
Now even ebay sellers started it..Forget speed post, they are using ordinary post https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_eek.gif

That’s not ordinary post but registered parcel. Ordinary means those unregistered/unaccounted articles which cannot be tracked online. https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

Most of my amazon orders are delivered by IPS.. Almost everything i buy from UBSPD is shipped through IPS. I think they have deal or something.. now cloudtail is shipping through BD. earlier it was only through gati.

Cant blame d sellers also. speed post is d cheapest so they send through it most of the times..

If its amazon then u can call CC and ask for compensation.. my orders worth 2k was lost once. so they gave me a 150 rs gift card. Sometimes mysteriously package might arrive to ur house and it wont be updated in tracking.. happened with my frnd once. He got both refund and product but chances of getting the product is very very slim.. So just ask for refund and compensation too!! https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif

They might even offer u same product for the old deal price.(if it wasnt lightning deal).

I stay in bangalore and after amazon transportation service, India post is the fastest and then comes aramex and blue dart is the worst. At least amazon is not delivering through “DELHIVERY” as flipkart does.

Whatever you say about private services, it all depends on how the local delivery team behaves. Blue Dart and FedEx, as companies, have the best system devised in the world. They have a reputation to keep up.
For me, ATS sucks a lot because of the local team head here. Can you believe that? But the system devised by ATS is fine as it is.

With India Post, it’s exactly the opposite. The officials (up in the hierarchy) won’t give a damn about your complaints. Very rarely one or two clerical cadre members will respond to you properly. That’s all.
Once when I contacted Blue Dart regarding an issue, their Regional Manager (Sales) responded to me so politely and followed it up till the end of the story. Can you expect that from a senior official in IP? Ref.: http://www.desidime.com/forums/dost-and-dimes/t...
