Yes, you are right. Convenience fee is barred if the full amount is paid through gv.

Is it 225 for all the flight bookings or does it vary depending on the flight amount/legs?

I mostly pay by ola wallet where I have money at 5-10% discount so that’s why I wasn’t sure if they charge different for other modes.

I was going through cleartrip booking and it seems like charges have been increased to 275 for single trip and 399 for roundtrip on cleartrip which were 225 and 350 earlier. Can someone please confirm.

Just now tried …they r applying convenience fees …even when u pay full amount with GV…275 rs on one way and 390 on round trip…

i booked at 8:02pm n convenience fee was NOT charged

With so much confusion around convenience charges, here I am reposting my comment made on other thread about how to book tickets.
GV option comes on website just when you select the flight. Whole amount can be paid in one go there only without any extra charges before entering details and moving to payment page.
Even if ₹1 is left to be paid, they will add all charges to it. Now if you try to go back and pay through gv, it will still ask you for all charges.
You need to be very careful while booking to avoid charges.

I have got confirmatio from clear trip about convenience charge, utter waste of buying clear trip gift cards now , mmt is lot better because of wallet usage

if i booked ticket and paid by netbanking means, they collect 225 rs per ticket or per person as convenience fees, so if i paid by GV means, no convenience fees (225 rs) ??
