Info needed about Toshiba Hard drive warranty procedure

Does Toshiba insist on the Serial No. being printed on the invoice or not? I had purchased an external drive from Amazon recently and the S/N wasn’t printed. Initially I was told to wait 5 days for a fresh invoice but today a CC agent tried to convince me that the S/N isn’t necessary! And no new invoice will be provided.
Has anyone had any personal experience regarding this?

Depends on the inspection officer at the desk in Rashi Prepherials of your local city.

You can register the product in their website , also you can forge a recipe your self

Do you mean registration at Toshiba website? Toshiba explicitly mentions that registrations are meant only for TVs and one other category that I can’t recall at the moment. For Hard drives no need to register and warranty period will be determined by the date on the invoice. But since S/N isn’t mentioned they might deem it invalid?
