This post is for all the mi tv 4 owners, We’re all locked in a walled garden with limited videos and apps available to watch. So here is the guide to unlock and install any apps from the market.. Amazon Prime, other Video Streaming apps, Games, etc.

Make sure settings are unchecked for installing apps from other sources
Aptoide is an alternative to Google Play store. I’m sure you all must have other opinions and suggestions. Kindly share your experience so that we can make it helpful for all #mitv4 owners

The TV at this price is amazing my friend , Xiaomi managed to reduce the cost by getting these content providers on board.
However, I tried to side load Amazon prime and it works fine with a mouse but not with the TV remote
Hey, did you say, Amazon Prime was working fine. Did you just saw the interface and assumed it or you actually played a video. To the best of my knowledge, the application crashes if you try to play the video. Can you please check and confirm. I also like to inform that Terrarium TV, Freeflix, Jio TV and Jio Cinema works fine on it. Also, instead of Aptoide, if you install Aptoide TV, you will find applications optimized for TV.
I’ll continue to keep this post updated so that our fellow dimers can get the benefit out of it.

How did you all managed to get that TV? I put an alarm 11:55 PM, clicking that dead buy now button like a monkey only to realize its gone OOS before I even click it. Now don’t tell me I’m not clicking fast enough. I already broke two mouses.
I bought the tv yesterday, the problem is i cant install any apps related to playstore its showing error message that it wont run without google play services , i want to know whether you guys where able to work hotstar on the tv

How to watch ipl matches in mi tv, JioTV asking for login but unable to login. Someone please help.
download JioTV app for normal android phones and then install.

Hi bro. Does any wireless mouse work on the tv? Please suggest which mouse to buy.
Maybe for alternative for Play Store, go for ‘APK Pure’, better than Aptoide.

Need help to setup apps on new mi tv.
Amazon prime : not able to use amazon prime video – after clicking any video reload same page.
Sony Liv – showing message google service missing, installed google service and play store but seems not working.
Terrarium TV – once working after installation then after restart not able to start application.
Aptoide- seems required mouse so not tested.
can any one share working apks files. it will great help.
I am still looking for Google services to play with, how to run, Drive and Photos by google on TV. If anyone can help me, it would be great.
