Rest everything might just work fine but Windows 7/XP isn’t optimized for touch. And also you’ll need to install pirated version/Buy a copy of Windows 7 as the current product key won’t work because you aren’t rolling back. BTW what problem do you have with Windows 10? After using it I just can’t go back now.

Can we know the windows 8.1 key of this tablet.
P.s I too own 1 iball slide 701i

+1

Not able to add the script to dd because of formatting issues so adding the Google Drive link of the file that I created.

Just download and open it and there you have your product key.
Alternate way is to use Belarc Key Finder

Check phoenix os on tab. Its almost a rip off remix os but has better hardware support

Smaller footprint. Looks cool. Lets try and see. Have you tried it?

Actually what made remix os so big is still a really big mystery. It is as vanilla as the phoenix os is and any other android x86 version is not as big as remix. Anyways the only problems with It currently is lack of Google play like jide os. And rooting. Bdw remix can be rooted. I am little busy these days to try out phoenix and on Linux problem booting remix os through grub

@PaytmKaPoojari Any advantage of these OS’s over Windows on a laptop? Better battery life or something?
And I think that Pheonix currently only supports legacy boot option. No EFI hence it can’t run on this tablet.

There’s a thread also how to convert legacy boot to uefi on reddit or remix os group. Brother I highly recommend not to run the os on laptops but keep it restricted to desktop computing. Android x86 as a platform is still novice without any battery saving functionality so u will lose a lot of battery on laptop since even when u switch off the display the processor will keep running in the background at the maximum frequency

HI,
I have successfully installed ubuntu 14.04.2 (64-bit), I got around the problem of 32-bit UEFI by using Debian 8.2 (multiarch), although the system boots, I am unable to use the touch , audio and bluetooth, I am using Ubuntu build from : https://plus.google.com/+IanMORRISON/posts/UNWd...

this gives me wi-fi support so that I can install other things….right now I am using the tblet as a headless display using OpenSSH but I really would like the tablet experience via touch and audio.

Any help!!
