interestingly they have mentioned 5 years warranty on the same card on their estore as well…

I also faced the same issue….I have also purchased the card online…So did some setting with local dealer to changed the memory card
Ok here is the update… i checked the receipt of the card n found Suman Enterprise is the seller… called on the no. provided… lady said go to Neoteric informatique in Nehru place n get it replaced in case of any issue call her… luckily my classes r near Nehru place itself so today i went there but the guard outside said y i am here n wen i responded he said they no more provided service to samsung.
Anyways went inside and got the same reply… they said go to samsung service center in gurgaon i told them i hv been there… all in all they can’t help me…
Called the seller(Suman enterprises) lady asks me to call her boss… talked to him n he is supportive… asks me to handover the phone to Neoteric guys he asks them to give in written that they cant provide service(this is wen i came to know Neoteric itself is the distributor!!)…. Neoteric guys tell him as samsung is not providing them with replacement so since Feb they stopped giving replacements… and of course won’t give anything in written… my fone is passed on to many people from bottom to top and in the end comes back to me… seller tells me he’ll take care of them… and offers me a replacement from his end but that will be a Sandisk..
asks me to go downstairs to a shop n handover the call to them… but these guys r giving me a Sandisk Class 4 card… again i ask the seller to give me a Class 6 but he says Sandisk has Class 4 or 10 n Class 10 is costly… i am getting late for my class… i offer to pay the difference between the two… Paid 350 and gave them my faulty samsung card… took Sandisk ultra 16 GB class 10 n rushed for my class…
In December i bought the same Sandisk card from pepperfry to 550 so of course i did not feel very good about the payment but was exhausted n wanted to get rid of samsung…
So this was the world class service of Samsung that i received… Won’t buy Samsung products in future for sure…
I Do have Samsung Memory Cards 16 GB Class 10 both got with Note 3 and S4 it was bundled now both are not detectable.
Same case with me No support for Memory Cards What to do i cant understand.

I also bought Samsung Class 6 card before 4 months from Paytm and now it seems corrupted. I don’t know what to do now.
Please share the CEO’s email address. I’ll just let them know what disappointed customers can do. Every dimer here who owns a Samsung memory card should write a mail to the CEO saying how disappointed they are, and that they will never ever buy their memory cards anymore and will do their best to spread the awareness.ephoenix wrote:

I hv posted the same in several threads but no one seemed to care . Samsung does nt dare pull this cheap trick elsewhere. Only in India is this allowed to happen. Ignorant consumers & impotent consumer rights watchdog. What else can be expected? I wish more dimers would share their recent experiences if any. Maybe the situation has changed in the last 2 years. After this is confirmed this could perhaps be made a sticky?

Plz post ur findings here. It will help other dimers. Are you sure it was a genuine item?
The sad thing is Samsung memory cards in general are excellent second only to Sandisk. But uncertainty over warranty means that I hv never considered them.

Wow, this is news to me. But if anyone would have fought a case he would have won it easily, reason being Samsung advertises warranty and mentions it on the packaging too. Samsung is having a field day because no one has dared to confront them till now. Gladly, I don’t own a Samsung card and won’t buy one in the future. Thanks for the info @OP.

And still these deals are being posted and even promoted to the front page? Well one dimer said he was able to avail warranty last month. But more confirmation is needed. Sandisk makes the best cards coupled with the best after sales services. No need to look elsewhere.

i have a 8gb card gone bad since last year. samsung care say replace from where you bought it. We will not give warranty for memory.
