We are happy to announce that we will be making live our Newest Android App 2.2 which is completely done using the concept of Material Deisgn and also has a much more richer feature set compared to existing Android App…
If you would like to try out the new app, Simply Join the Google+ Testing Community and the app will be available to you on play store in a day or two:

Thanks again for all the updates so far. As most of you already noted, notifications issues are resolved and we will release 2.1.19 soon for beta group with more fixes. Soon after that, we will release the app for everyone.

ya notification issue resolved, now app is pretty much bug free
One request, please change smileys, all the smileys looks same, it is because of orange color which is filled in the face of smiley, if you replace that orange with white then we can differentiate between smileys
Found something in developer app, Cant say it as a bug but it is little bit related to privacy.
@admin I am going to message you that on personal kindly not ignore that.

lol same thing I was talking about, you also have eagle eyes 
this new app is full of bugs..it doesn’t let me allow post on threads most of the times..when I try again n again sometimes I post more than one time as it only shows error in posting..
when I am goin thru recent threads..n click on any topic from there it doesn’t take me to the latest updated thread..for example if the thread which I clicked has 5 pages it will only take me to the 2nd page which I saw sometime back..that means the thread on which it is taking me is not updated one.
another most important bug is in messaging..when I am sending replies of pm it is deleting previous messages in the chain.so I can’t see what conversation chain I had with this sender..
also I am not able to send any URL link in pm..clickable links are not goin thru pm
I have been using this new version for past 1 day n I am really frustrated.. previous version had lesser flaws than this
@admin another minor issue here…. at the time of sending a pm or replying to pm it pop ups that the msg has been sent successfully but the screen still remains intact with the written msg… it should either load back to inbox or the previous window… i hope u got what i mean…
One suggestion
in Message section, In Inbox we see the profile picture of sender and it is okay
but in outbox section profile picture should be of receiver and not of sender
In short,
There should not be profile pic of me in my message section
i dont know why but i still like the mobile site more than the new app

Can you kindly update us on what kind of bugs/issues you are facing? And in which section the app force closes.
While giving u the feedback section+some time in message section..
Gets force close while viewing or commenting on deal page

Trying the new app, not bad, huge improvement over the previous one, LOL.
But you can’t see whether a post is FPD or not, can you?

Hope these bugs are resolved.. Had posted them before still posting it again.
These are pretty serious bugs even for a beta version
Number of pages for many posts are shown wrong.. Like there is one page in post but 3 pages will be shown with last 2 pages just blank. Also the number of up votes is also shown wrong sometimes
Inbox shows wrong display pictures of users sometimes
While sending a message, after clicking on send it just keeps loading. Message is never sent.
Replying to thread gives error sometimes. Never gets posted
This version fails to load the details of the first 2-3 posts in the deals section.
Not able to reply to any of the post.
It would be great if we can denote when was the article first posted in the listing itself. Some dimers post comment on very old deals and these deals appear in the list. If the first posting is mentioned, it would easier for us to not open these deals
@admin. 2 out of 5 times, i’m unable to see content on FPD. Neither the comments.. When I click on FPD.
and Also submission of feedback doesn’t work on the app.. Msg I get- Whoa! Something bad happened. No Fear. Try again..— etc..

@admin Posting fails most of the times and to restore it we have to clear the cache for the app. Hope this is fixed first.

The issues around Posting comments, Notifications issues, Blank deal content etc are all fixed.
Let your feedback continue to come in and you can always use the “Feedback” tab in app to send the comments directly to developers too.
As far as iOS app goes, We are working on that too and very soon we will have update for that.

copy paste etc options are not displayed when. selecting some text while commenting or making a post. it’d be helpful for those accessing the app from slow internet connections so that they need not to rewrite anything if encountered by weird error messages due to slow net

It was a temporary glitch and is resolved now.
Very smooth and stable app.
Although I got couple of FCs while checking notifications and messages.
I still can’t go to the pages via Notification area where I am tagged or mentioned.
Hope that gets a fix soon.
Now one most important thing not related to app but…
Please for God’s sake remove this new smiley set it’s so annoying and feeling-less and everything looks similar and annoying.
