Btw, I won’t buy any phone this expensive unless I have money to literally throw away. Yes, it’s throwing money. That’s how I see people buying flagship phones. Mobiles phones have absolutely worst VFM. And Apple products are sitting on shit load of money coz they are doing what BB did in it’s hayday and Nokia used to with their premium phones. They never spent on hardware and what they once spent on software keep regenerating money for them. Even hardware on iPhone 7 is 2012/13 standard. Apple just keep reinventing the wheel and fanboys rejoice and throw away their money on them. BOth go home happy.
That being said, I am fed up with android’s inefficiency too. With every new version of their Android I hope they would concentrate on making android more efficient but they never do and the manufacturers are left with just cramming up more powerful processor and more RAM and higher display resolution with their new models, which is useless. Latest processors from Snapdragon surpass budget laptop processors like AMD A4 in raw power! UHD on a 5-6 inch display? Why would you need such power on a mobile phone? Which is the reason for poor battery life on Android. Android is not heading were a Linux OS should be. With Nougat atleast Google has incorporated multitasking which will make some use of all the power at hand. Steve Jobs spent all his attention on iOS and it still pays. Sadly, he is dead and so is innovation at Apple. It’s just downward slope from here for them. Maybe be Apple will introduce multitasking 1-2 years later and again fanboys will rejoice at Apple ‘innovation’.
Bottomline:
1. It’s one’s choice how he wants to spend his money.
2. There is no ‘rationalisation’ with fanboys.
