One of My friend’s friend caught by IRCTC for booking tickets in his personal ids.
It seems he is doing it as a business. He informed that some 50 future dated tickets was still to be travelled.
He asking me whether all these tickets will be cancelled by IRCTC.
I checked internet and with some of my friends, unable to find the correct answer.
Any of u have any info about this cancelltion of future train tickets??

I also had the same perception.
But he is telling that the officers in the Railway Police informs that the tickest will be cancelled.
He caught couple of weeks back. Still no IDs blocked and no Tickets got cancelled.
He is operating 10 or 12 personal IDs it seems.

I think your friend’s friend has already been get caught. Only his IRCTC id will becomes invalid and he will be accused and will not be able to book further ticket with his id. So there should not be any issue with booked tickets (but not 100% sure)
