little bit also owned by my cousin and her friend (they both got lottery allotment, not us😕)
but what is current laws and rulings of Supreme court in this matter?
once even a real estate dealership (some land records needed fixing) asked for a photocopy and my friend whose case it was, started giving them lecture.

No Aadhaar Verification required for booking up to 6 tickets in a month, as earlier.
 Existing facility of booking upto 6 tickets (without Aadhaar) in a month continues.

Individuals are allowed only 2 tickets per User-ID in a day for Tatkal booking from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon and 2 ARP tickets from 8.00 AM to 10.00 AM. A maximum of 6 tickets can be booked online in a month by an individual, a monthly limit can be extended to 12 by Aadhaar E KYC on IRCTC site.

My point is, you don’t need Aadhaar for booking upto 6 tickets. In case you need to book more than 6 tickets in a month, then create another IRCTC account. sunglasses

Why to create new account. If you think that they will use your aadhar details, there is no point. If that is the case that they use your details, they can get it from Government. Just to verify yourself with the given account, they are asking us to link.
