Is it just me or every year... the summer is getting more and more unbearable

And on top of this heat and hellish humidity, there’s your friendly load sheddings.
And no rains, also for the 1st time ever, my area’s ground water dried up. It’s so scary we are having to pay exorbitant prices for a water drum!
It’s time we stop govt and those goon-ish contractors to stop wipping trees and stop using ACs and minimise the impact of coolants and other harmful stuff.
If this heat keeps going on and the water table diminishing, it’ll be terrible for us lower and middle class citizens. We’re the only ones who has to suffer! Not politicians and certainly not those industrialists and celebrities.

lacit nagar, assam a small quiet village-town, delivery ppl don’t even come here 😑
Yeah without knowing where you live it’s sorta pointless. But I can pretty much guess it’s a city with loads of people and flat culture.
The ground water has been drying up because of these flat culture nowadays. Sometimes when I roam in my own neighbourhood I barely recognise it anymore. Almost all the houses are gone, flats replaced them! Oof.
As I live in Calcutta, the summer doesn’t reach a point where it will kill you, I mean other than for couple of weeks anyway. But yes, without AC, it’s not survivable, at least for me. Honestly it’s easier to make eco-friendly gas to use in ACs rather than controlling a hundred factors leading to global warming. Just shower like 2-3 times a day, drink plenty water and be in ACs most of the time, summer can go to hell.
The above is a short-term solution though. If you want long-term then definitely saving trees, saving water, recycling drainage water etc. are needed to control global warming and retain sufficient supply of water.
I live in Lacit nagar, Assam. No flats in my area but some thing really awful happened last year (too tired to write it now) and now huge flats are underway, they’re already causing a lot of troubles for us, eg huge trucks and loud machines goong on till 2am and start at sharp 7am. Its awful ☹
You should see and correlate both:

Keep thinking how easily Indians can be fooled.
“Climate hasn’t, we changed”?
That’s not what he said during climate meeting around other world leaders. Seriously if you’re one of those who thinks global warming is fake then get lost.
Leonardo tweeted too on the water shortage
Global warming is the real deal.
Where do you live btw?
