Is it safe to order TV from Flipkart using Gift Card?

I want to purchase the 55 inch Motorola Tv launching this sale. But neither I have Axis DC/CC nor ICICI CC to available additional 10% discount. So if I purchase Gift Cards at discount and pay entire amount of TV around 40k will flipkart block account? pls sugget
