They are discussing about two points over there.
First, which I have already mentioned that only companies having residential status certificate issued by Mauritius can avail benefits of DTAA. Their discussion over this is that there is leniency in issuing of that certificate. (Read last 2 paragraphs)
Second, whole issue is about taxing “Capital Gain Income”. And I guess, you know the difference between Normal Income and Capital Gain Income.

Yes that is pure computer algorithm , They calculate based on adsense , add places ,how many adds you have on site,where you placed, whats avg cpm for ur country , avg cpm for niche .and more

income may be far… more or far…. less also , thats just an estimate done by a calculation .. its usefull only when you compare 2 sites say .. dd1 and dd2 .. dd1 earns 100 $ and dd2 earns 200$ this way you can tell that diff of % of earnings shown by it says popularity,views, etc other than that it is bullshitt….

only admin can tell how much he/she earns , though be rest assured they are not going to disclose to you else you will stop coming here, saving money in deals and start spending time in earning the way they do.. lol

And I spent a lot more than I should.

I started shopping since 2011 and for the first year I was a crazy shopper. I used to buy stuff just for the sake of availing the huge discounts. And soon, my (small)hostel room turned into a showroom of assorted products. But thankfully as I attained the great enlightenment , now I am able to control the temptation to an acceptable limit.

In the end of the learning curve, I can confidently say that I have become a smart shopper (investor).

EXACTLY—DD creates feeling of deprivation & demand generation which drives us to buy things which we dnt even need..

Its only assumption not truth…assumption are made by seeing traffic on the site

And I guess whatever reported is only ad-revenue.
Affiliates is still there which in my guess is much more than the ad-revenue esp for DD.
Many dimers and visitors (non-dimers), click on the links and purchase products which could be totaling to hefty amounts and a mere percentage could be a mighty figure.

Bottom line is profit …. anyone know how much dd rakes in from advertising and affiliate commisions each day.

I would think the number to be at least Rs25000/- , seems freekamaal have commission from 700 sales a day! Soon there will be a lot of competition as well. If DD is to be on top they have to think of new innovations to benefit their loyal members.

business is tough to stay on top is even tougher and its the top 80% in any industry that rakes in 80% of the total profits, the botttom 80% get the leftovers which is just 20% of the total profit generated in the sector.

Also stats for all new businesses 80% fail in the first year, of the remaining that survive another 80% fail in the next four years, and of the remaining another 80% shut down.

Which means only 0.8% of businesses which start eventually succeed and make the big money.

Very very hard guys ….. best way to own a well established profitable business is to

1)Marry into it (really is the best way guys)
2)Inherit it
