Last year I bought OP6 and regretted my decision when S9 was costing only around 5k more. I think S10 is better than OP7 now and the scenario is similar.

definitely, Samsung phones are better but they tend to slow and become futile as time goes on
I had samsung a5 in 2015 used for 2 yrs then i faced a problem of bulging battery and again charge time increased it was not same as when i bought.
in 2017 i bought op3t till now I feel the same day 1 experience. still my phone works excellent only reason to upgrade is processor and camera

OP7 Pro : buy if u have enough budget. u will get pure value for money product for sure
OP7 : its perfect phone and with base price of 33k, it is a good deal with latest SD855 processor

I’m planning to buy OP7, it will last atleast 2 years (value for money)
redmi and other chinese phones (OP is chinese though) would be giving problems after 1 yrs

Agreed. Samsung’s mid-range Exynos processor tend to slow in time. But the flagship Exynos processors (9000 series) are really good. I am SOC software developer at Samsung and I know it grinning Since your one reason to upgrade is Camera, Samsung is best at its camera. I personally like S10 for its display camera and dimensions. It just gives a nice hold to the Hand.
But if you are looking for more of Gaming and processor, you should go for Op7 pro. The camera is not impressive though as MKBHD quoted laughing

It’s worth of its price. It’s a superb phone let down again by a great camera which isn’t the best as always. If you can compromise a tiny bit in terms of camera performance you can get the OP7 Pro else go for S10 series. (please don’t share gyan about dxomark scores)

Galaxy S series had an issue in terms of lag for previous gens but the current One UI is lot faster and seems promising, got to see how it goes on a long term.

It’s a tricky situation in India, especially when S10 is available for 5k instant discount + 6k HDFC cash back making it just 56k for base model os S10 which is very closely priced to 47k to 47.5k (Depending on debit/credit card discount of SBI) of OP7 Pro.

I haven’t used OP7 Pro yet so can’t get deeper but having used S10 I can definitely say it’s a great phone and a worthy alternative. But then again, you have to stretch your budget further by 9k or so.

first I wanna bought Redmi note 7 pro in my budget of 17k
then I thought lets make one time investment and buy OP6t costing 33k so no worry upto 2-3 years
then comes OP7, now I’m thinking to buy OP7 8+256GB varient costing 38k
thats how your desires screws your budget.

y to buy 8/256 variant
i dont think we use 256gb storage for just some photos and videos in todays world where we use drive for almost everything. ram from 6 to 8 will not make any performance incrementals anyways everybody has own usage.

I’m thinking to buy a mobile which would bear me for 2-3 years
with hardcore gaming and usage, so 8+256 GB would be good
isn’t it?

I personally don’t feel any diff with 2 gigs increase of ram, in real-world performance, they work pretty similar

I had a 128gb phone 2016 which got filled up in less than 6 months! I always had to delete content after than until I later upgraded to a 256gb phone.

Most of the space was occupied by photos and videos I captured on the device during my trips. Google photos does well to backup them at almost as good resolution as the native one but viewing them is a pain, especially for videos to buffer. If we are left with no option we would rely on it but if someone can afford a 256gb phone it does help.

And it doesn’t stop there! With such rapid developments in hardware space it’s highly difficult to use a phone for 2-3 years. Especially when you can afford to upgrade and gets spellbound by every crazy new hardware release

If you got the budget, go for this flagship killer blindly….. Nobody could ever touch or came closer to OnePlus…….

Just been reading the reviews on Amazon today. There are many people disappointed with the camera and battery life, though these can be improved a bit over time with usage getting more streamlined and through software updates I doubt how better it can get. Any users of OP7 Pro who can comment on this further?

When price of flagship killer is same flagship itself like in case of op7pro vs s10 then why call it killer? Lol
S10 camera is way better than op7pro
S10 aesthetically is better than op7pro
Ofcourse processor is marginally better in op7pro but then wait for op7 or else s10 for the price. Imho.
