Hi guys,
I always get call from “BABY CARE FOUNDATION” for donating some money for some babies for heart surgery etc etc.
In truecaller it shows , “marked by 56 people as spam”. They always try to tell a long emotional story and then they also tell me to check authenticity by checking their site : http://babycarefoundati...rg
http://www.sunrisefoundationtrust.com/inde...ml
But i never donated them, because many friends are saying they are fake.
How many of you are getting such call ?

I think LensKart is the culprit here who is sharing our numbers.
I also got this kind of call once, the told exactly same things as they said to OP. They told me child is admitted in Apollo Hospital ,Jasola, Delhi
I told them I am okay for donation and just give me the ward no. Where kid is admitted in Apollo , I said I will directly transfer the funds to Apollo mentioning the ward no. Now comes their reality, they littrely refused to provide ward no. Coz there was no such child admitted. They tried to convince me for 5-7 mins but I said only one thing at end “Give me ward no.” The phone was cut from their side

Guys stop getting worried about who shares your details with them. Its very easy to take the database from job portals.
I get such calls almost 3 times every week and I also tell them very emotional story so they don’t feel offended and never try calling me back.

Why not to keep a babe so that your other employees will not miss the office often.

Logic: Why would they call people asking them to donate for kids?
Because they are not genuine and just by calling people if they are able to garner some funds, they are successful.I would not to donate to them. A fake website doesnt take much time to built.
Instead, you can go to a local Blind school or orphanage or animal shelter where your donation would really matter.
Yes, donating in kind is better than donating in cash since that has a built in check agains pilferage. In case you are paying by cash, always insist for a receipt and keep a check on their working.
If you are not able to find anything else, go to a primary govt school in your area. You will definitely find many children with genuine needs there. You can help them too.
I am running an NGO, so I can surely tell you not to pay to such callers.
And kindly discourage paying money to kids begging on streets since it promotes child begging forcibly.
+1
Good One!

Once I had a new sim and on that I had made only one purchase of Lenskart)( the number was not shared with anyone) after a few days I got a call from the NGO.
