Any idea when will we get JIO dth
i heard they will give broadband and cable together bundled in one (expected price 500Rs)
but it is in works from so long. When will it go LIVE?
As of now for broadband security deposit required is 4500 (which is too high)
Also heard Jio has stake in hathway .
Will all hathway users STB be replaced with Jio STB/routers

You are saying 4500/- as fully refundable deposit is too high 🤣
.

They are giving more than 3 months of free data, which costs more than 4500 itself .

I currently pay 500 pm for ACT broadband which is like 1500 for 3 months. This is in hyderabad.
My friends pay just 250pm and it is bundled cable, broadband in Andhra
so yes it is high price..

Also the deposit has terms and conditions. As mentioned on website…

“The security deposit of Rs 4500 is taken for the ONT device (GigaHub Home Gateway) provided by Jio.
The deposit will be refunded if you choose to discontinue using the JioGigaFiber services, provided the installed devices are returned in good and working condition.”

I am using it from august 2k18, yes u have to pay 4.5k but i haven’t anything extra apart from that till now. Until and unless they officially launch their plans it will be free for us.
This 4.5k includes landline and gigatv as well. We get about 1.1TB free data every month.
I have queued up my vouchers for more than 2 years i guess let’s c what happens now :toungueout:

Yes u get about 70mb speed easily on ur single band wifi. Worth trying it out.

Hope this helps wink

I have jio giga fiber since 1 year and its totally free but i gave 4500 deposit but the data used by me since 1 year will cost around 3-4 times the deposit… I am their beta user tester actually… I confirm u that this fiber connection will be free till its commercial launch… So dont worry 3months limit can also extend as its commercial may take 6months
