your getting cap after 4gb now? https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_eek.gif https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_eek.gif

MyJio had a counter in the morning when I checked. It was showing data consumed and data remaining counters.

P.S. I am Flame1 user.

Are you sure your validity is 4th Jan ? ASAIK its 31st Dec for all.

Now validity changed to Dec 31 after MyJio app update
n no data counter

Talked to customer care of Jio.
Firstly they dont understand what cap is. Every query asked they need to confirm with supervisor
As per them the CAP timing is not reset at 12:00 everyday but at the time you received the Message for extension of validity
When asked about why the lyf mobile users are not given 90 days unlimited data as promised, he said that they cant do anything about it and we need to live with it.
I told him that people have paid Money for getting the 90 day offer which Reliance should honor. Then too same answer that they cant do anything about it
I asked him to take a complaint andhe said that even if he takes a complaint it will be rejected..
Is this how Reliance will do business in future??

They have royally screwed the JPO customers who spent the hard earned money in buying LYF handsets. Once again shows both brothers are the same, rubbish policies and procedures. I will never make the mistake of switching my primary number to Jio. It is good for a secondary connection only.

The change from the true unlimited data to the 4GB FUP cap is nothing but cheating from Reliance Jio. This change hurts people like me the most as we purchased a Lyf phone in August only to be able to get the truly unlimited Jio Preview Offer. CC @sidbhai

Yes No for Data.

But Calling is also an doubt, as every time when you try to make a call you will get line busy. Keeping Jio as primary can be risk your life too, as in any emergency case if you need to call you will always gets line busy. So keep in this mind too.

True. And the laughable situation for calling from Jio will continue until January 2017 as the other mobile service providers don’t want to provide more interconnect points to Jio until they start charging the customers.

Jio is my tertiary no. only. The two classes that were devoid of using the data and voice due to pricing, are now Previewing the offer to the fullest.

Interconnecting points are the problem. The outbound calls to other networks are bound to choke as these towers are simply can not handle the traffic.

On calling front, i dont see any improvement after Jan 2017 as with 149, you can make unlimited calls. This free calls will hit the revenues of other operators leading towards slow death of the margins.
Jio will overcome the interconnect points as majority of the subscriber base will be on Jio network via primary, secondary or tertiary sims.

I agree, life is so strange, when Jio was coming everybody thought, data would be come cheaper and they would use Jio for data. Now when the official launch is near the tables have turned. Jio is good for making voice calls as roaming is free, no blackout days. Data is expensive. So it would be best to use it for voice calls. as nothing cheaper than Jio for roaming and calling.

Just for voice calls Jio might live….and they might even change terms that voice has some MAX Cap like 5000 minutes per month or for voice data balance will be deducted etc.,!
Finally Jio aka Reliance is again not a reliable company just like they show their true colors in every field.

Yes, well said.

They already started showing true color by limiting data to 4GB per day with Welcome Offer, and soon their trariff plans will also change which will put cap on calling too.

It was just a show off of Jio to show their competitors, at-last they are only interested in sucking money from customers as much as possible.

Lol I am aware of that having worked for one. But many of these “we” really thought ambani didnt want any profit and started this company only for giving away benefits. 5rs/gb, 600 unlimited plan what not.

Even 2000 unlimited plan itself would take away their profits.

It was mostly expected but many here thought Ambani was into NGO stuff and will give away cheap plans. Time to buy telecom stocks https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif

This case is different first of all you should be aware what does NGO means: A non-governmental organization is a not-for-profit organization that is independent from states and international governmental organisations.

But here we are not asking plans for free from Jio, we wanted truly unlimited plan which may cost Rs.2000/- + so how u can call this NGO stuff, when we are paying. https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_biggrin.gif

True unlimited, speeds upto 100mbps for 2000? https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_biggrin.gif

We all have been migrated to JWO with 4GB FUP, my validity shows till 4th Jan

The new MyJio app shows Welcome offer valid till Dec 31, 2016 for my SIM, which had the preview offer valid till Nov 2, 2016.

The change from the true unlimited data to the 4GB FUP cap is nothing but cheating from Reliance Jio. This change hurts people like me the most as we purchased a Lyf phone in August only to be able to get the truly unlimited Jio Preview Offer. CC @sidbhai

Yes, its unfair.

And also their plans are not that attractive for high data users, i was expecting Truly Unlimited Plan for Rs.2000/-

I have lowered my expectations a bit…seeing Jio as Free Call Maker Device only:lol:
Data is a Big No

Everyone will be using it voice only after Dec 31st and recharge not more than Rs.149. So, I am thing they would change the plans too.

Just for voice calls Jio might live….and they might even change terms that voice has some MAX Cap like 5000 minutes per month or for voice data balance will be deducted etc.,!
Finally Jio aka Reliance is again not a reliable company just like they show their true colors in every field.

+1

Yes, well said.

They already started showing true color by limiting data to 4GB per day with Welcome Offer, and soon their trariff plans will also change which will put cap on calling too.

It was just a show off of Jio to show their competitors, at-last they are only interested in sucking money from customers as much as possible.

I had BSNL EVDO unlimited broadband and using RJio since past 4 months never got bored of Youtube.

I have raised a complain and every Lyf phone user should too. Since the website didn’t allow me write this lengthy letter, I had type it on MyJio app. https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_rolleyes.gif

I am a Lyf phone user.Today I opened MyJio app to find that my account has been migrated to ‘Jio Welcome offer’ from previosly active ‘Jio Preview Offer’. Reliance Jio forced early subscribers to buy their in-house brand aka ‘Lyf mobile’ to avail their 4G service. I would like to inform you that I like many other subscribers had been using premium 4G phones from other brands costing 20k upwards(36k for my LG phone). So there was no need for us to buy another phone. But RJio didn’t leave us an option. Then you started selling RJIO sim cards without phone and free of charge. We didn’t complain. But now you are treating your Lyf customers the same as ‘free sim users’? This is outrageous! How can you put your customer who paid nothing and who paid atleast 6k in the same boat? Lyf customers should get unlimited data service till 31st Dec without any FUP. We have been early and loyal adopters of RJio, we deserve better than free loaders. Secondly, how do you aspect us to use Jio services like JioPlay which only run on Jio network with only 4GB of data?
