Jio Launched New Plans!

Unlimited starts from Rs. 199. No news about monthly bulk data options in the 10-20GB range. New plans start from 6th Dec 2019.
Jio customers will have to pay Rs 555 for 84-day validity and 1.5 GB of data per day, which is 39 per cent higher than the earlier plan of Rs 399 offering same features.
The company has raised the price of Rs 153 plan to Rs 199; Rs 198 plan to Rs 249; Rs 299 plan to Rs 349; Rs 349 plan to Rs 399; Rs 448 to Rs 599; Rs 1,699 plan to Rs 2199, and Rs 98 plan to Rs 129.
The Rs 199 plan is a month long valid plan, which offers 1.5GB per day, and is about 25 per cent cheaper than the plans of rivals offering similar benefits at a price of around Rs 249.

for 449 plan there is no offnet balance u need to recharge extra with topups.. clearly mentioned 6ps/min
Option1 444 plan x 4 will give 2gb/day data,336 days at MRP of 1776… OFFNET benefit = 4,000 total minutes
Option2 1699 plan x 1 will give 1.5g/day data, 365 days at MRP of 1699… OFFNET benefit = 0
Option1 seems better to me if we do today with current plans
In 1699 no non jio calls minutes included ? Better to recharge 444
I am 1.5 gb user and I have done 399/- 4 recharges on my number and 1 399 recharge is expire on jan 13 2020 so total after 13 jan I have 84 ×4 days = 336 days and amount spent 349×4=1396
And for iuc I already recharge my number from Amazon. Paytm freecharge and all other cashaback site when I can get the cb so overall no investment for iuc
Do the plans get queued if recharged from 3rd party apps or only from official jio app?

Either you can use Jio balance or 50 Rs. coupon

If u have 50 rs discount vouchers already 444 better na? U gonna allowed to use 4*50 for for 4 txns.if u choose 1776 u able to use only 1*50 .

Just recharged with 98 plan twice. I don’t understand Amazon forces to recharge with the Rs. 10 on top of the base plan, i.e. 98 plan. I already have talktime balance and this 10 rupees will just be wasted. I found only Paytm allows 98 denomination as it is without any additional top up merged with it!

Same recharge…Same denomination…I had the same problem…But later received the confirmation message…Check some time later…you can see the plan in My Plans..your wont money wont go anywhere..

why is TRAI making us pay for the telcom company losses as they have to pay Spectrum dues.more importantly why does Jio need to increase tariff when it made 900cr profit?
Govt(Modi ji) needs money to run country as economy is going down the drain, so they are asking telecom companies, which are saying we can’t pay our previous dues and will shut shop unless you allow us to loot your country’s citizen and hence TRAI is silent on this. On top of this Ambani being in profit but still “behti ganga mein haath dho raha hai”.

Just for info : Purchased 444 plan vouchers before 6th ,now new 444 plan has validity of only 56 days , thank to jio that they did not reduced validity of old 444 plan even if not redeemed the voucher(not queued the plan ) . Though new 444 plan has 2000 free TT

i am user of 1.5gb per day plans from a year
Option1 449 plan x 4 will give 1.5gb per day data for 364 days at MRP of 1796… jio site saying Voice truly unlimited for 449 pan i guess they mean onnet + OFFNET.Option2 1699 plan x 1 will give 1.5gb per day data for 365 days ar MRP of 1699…
jio site saying zero benefit OFFNET
If we ignore discounts OPTION1 getting same validity with additional benefit of UNLIMITED OFF NET voice calls for a year with extra Rs 97.
Please correct if i got it WRONG ?
