all major service providers are doing this to escape actual physical KYC
which they cant afford,

moreover they will sell this data somehow to someone for some price some time

As per RBI, an individual can only hold 1 such account which is not verified by physical KYC

RBI rule
one person can have only one Adhaar linked e-KYC account at any given point of time.
this is applicable only for e-KYC and not applicable to accounts where full KYC have been done by submitting documents/biometrics.
