This has nothing to do with your phone. Not being able to call through Jio is a common issue. Did you miss all the posts/news articles about Jio not getting enough interconnect ports from the other operators?
I have Redmi 3s and iphone 6s. So when I try calling in remdi 3s and whenever network has interconnect issues the ivr says all lines are busy but when i try calling in iphone then it simply shows me call failed which means that my phone not catching volte. Searched couple of places on google and youtue but not able to find a solution

Steps:
1. Call CC
2. Put the phone on speaker mode
3. Hold for 35 mins
4. Ask them for settings/solution
What’s this ????
No 1 answered my question, but some people got answers by posting question in same thread 😋

What can one expect from Mukesh Ambani? They are experts in bait and switch so just enjoy the free stuff (if it works) till it lasts.
Here in Bangalore too I am facing same issue from almost a week and haven’t bothered as BSNL now gives 1mbps after FUP which is good enough.
@pravingole999 bro it all depends on how much signal strength you are getting and on which band your device is operation on.
Also if many devices are operating on same band in your area(means less SNIR) you may get less speed since lte band works on csma cd technology.

If you can lock in to
1800Mhz(preferred)
or
850Mhz bands
Now Jio is going to be MARO
@pravingole999 The browsing and downloading speeds during daytime have definitely come down as compared to 2-3 weeks ago. But the speeds during offpeak times are pretty much consistent here in Bangalore. Seems like the number of new users joining Jio are outpacing the new network capacity/bandwidth being added by Jio.
Have you made sure that you are being connected to Band 40 (2300 MHz) for getting the max speeds? Download the NetVelocity app from http://appstore.j...om and find the ideal location to receive the best 2300 MHz band signal. Jio automatically connects you to 1800 MHz (which has lower speeds) if the signal is too weak in your location. CC @thrifty_indian

Thanks bro for ur time n help
Below r my findings,
- At my location jio’s network r better than airtel.
- don’t know how to check band
- google.com it taking 15-20 sec to open
Getting speed between 5 kB to 30 kb.
U can check it in top bar in below image
Any ways…contacted to JIO cc. They have taken complaint…..

The band you are connected to is visible in the Jio’s NetVelocity app. So download it from the link I provided and then post your findings.

Current band = 850 , speed is very poor

On the contrary I am receiving better speeds on 1800Mhz band due to more congestion on 2300Mhz. Using Jio on Lg phone which has only 850 and 1800Mhz bands is like old days, whereas on the same place when I switch to the Flame phone which selects 2300Mhz band automatically the browsing speeds are most affected.

I also get speeds between 5-50 kbps. Complained twice, both time got reply that we are facing issues in Delhi NCR. Don’t know till when it’ll be solved.

I am only getting 4G HD signals on my Redmi 3S Prime…is it same as Volte?

Yeah its same. Some prefer to show HD whereas some show volte. This is only correct in case of Jio only which is a pure 4g network.

Just give a soft reboot or simply click on update if you got any updates in mi updater app(which leads to soft reboot too),boom you will get VoLTE .
@rajarew wrote:Is their any difference between HD and VoLTE ? Why some people are making so much unnecessary chaos about it ?

HD stands for high quality voice services which can be possible under 3g network too but since jio is pure 4g network that essentially means that volte is also enabled. However not sure why does he wants that specific volte sign 😕

na, there is no difference since Jio is using hd calling only on volte but you will experience HD quality only if both sides supports this(which in this case means that both should be Jio subscribers since no other network is currently supporting HD calling).

Yes band is 850
But today I travelled around 55km in Mumbai , but every wherewhere band was same and speed also.
One more thing, whenever I do speed test using NET VELOCITY app, then for 30 sec speed is increasing but after that same old story.
JIO gusta
