Please take it directly to Jio Service Centre (not Jio Store). They will flash the firmware and give it. It is a known bug.

I have JioFi2 , JioFi3 (with friend) and JioFi4. But this peculiar bug happens only with JioFi4 (Model is JMR 1140)

I faced this issue back in 2019 and same re-appeared now. Due to lockdown I am stuck now pensive

Im also facing the same issue from last 2 days. The lights go on and on in a loop until battery dies. It doesn’t boot up. Bcoz it cannot boot up i cannot even reset it by pressing the power and wps button.

I am also facing this problem after using it for 2 years now it turns all light on then off then repeat. due to lock down can not reach out to service center it was my daily driver, can any one suggest how to flash this so it start working again?

The same is happening with me. All lights blink when put to charge. Otherwise nothing works. Hard reset doesnt help too. Once the lockdown opens will have to visit the service centre.
Poor quality. In very few operation hours (although in 2 years) it stops working.

This problem only happens in jiofi4
It’s a bug can be solved only in jio service centre with in 5 mins.

1.Take off your JioFi4 device battery and throw it in the dustbin. 2.Connect your JioFi4 device (JMR1140) directly (without any battery inside) to your desktop or laptop, only using the USB data cable of your cellphone charger (other data cable may also work). Device will get powered and will be detected in -> Control Panel / Network and Sharing Center / Change adapter settings/ Local Area Connection 3.Type the URL jiofi.local.html in browser. Click login and give Usernme:administrator and paswword: administrator for authentication. 4.Click ''User Management'' on left sideand click "Restore" under "Restore Default Settings''. 5.Relogin (using administrator as userID and password) and Click WiFi on the left side of the webpage and note down ssid(username) and security key(password). These will be your new and default wifi id and password for connection (can be changed later). 6.You can use your cellphone charger to power up your JioFi4 device continuously without having the battery. However, the charger supplied with JioFi4 device won't work without the battery inside.' Happy Merry Christmas to all of you! Cheers!

Solution: First of all yeah you can take it to jio service center but you want to do it now. Just open the back cover remove the battery and restart it and don’t switch off it again until you wants to go to service center small bug but very annoying
