JioPhone Lite to launch for Rs 399 soon: It won’t have Internet connectivity, apps and more
JioPhone Lite that will only be able to make Calls, SMS and have no smart features.
JioPhone Lite could sell it for Rs 399 and offer recharge plans for as cheap as Rs 50.
Jio could end up offering a plan worth Rs 50 that could offer a validity of 28 days. Calls from Jio to Jio will be free but calls made to other networks will be charged. Users could also expect 100 free SMSes but since the phone won’t support Internet, the plans won’t offer any data.

Calling without enabling mobile data is available in VoLTE phone. May be it will be similar to that.

Since last month jio phone available at reliance fresh for 699. No activation required. Just pay and take away the box.
Appears they want to clear the entire stock.
It’s a waste phone even at 699. The only thing it excels at is hanging non-stop
