I got the answer to my question. It’s nothing personal – you do not even have a perspective, it’s based on what you’ve read/heard on media. My opinion is based on my personal experience having seen and lived with different cultures in India and around the world! I have never been to China or other third world countries though, that part is from the media.

Lol ….Did your personal experience from abroad tell you that
1. Independence means the elected govt. will make policies acceptable to each and every citizen
2. India has a “flaw” in democracy…without even knowing that its called “First Past the Post” system and how it ended up being the chosen system
3. China has communist dictatorship
4. High population and inflation have only negative connotations
5. India calculates its inflation in a “funny” way just for shits and giggles
6. Countries don’t want a demographic dividend to stimulate growth
7. You can pull out statistical figures from thin air…15% rise in cost of living

How you leaving the country helped you in spewing any of this utter nonsense is beyond me
Every jacka$$ can regurgitate the three words…high population, poverty and unemployment after watching a movie like Slumdog millionaire. But not everyone understands the underlying reasons and acts to bring a change. And the people who tout about being abroad are the ones who have gained zero knowledge of that place inspite of being there. Next time you go, get into the habit of making some friends there (instead of clinging on to your Indian co-workers)…enquire and learn about the political and administrative systems in place there….trust me, it’ll be a more fulfilling experience…..and the next time you become a keyboard warrior, maybe you’ll be able to piece together a coherent argument.
