Any one tried?? Should i visit them. they are saying u should get it verified.
Is there any way to get rid of physical card so that i can stay charge free?
which type of account it will be??
It will be free if you don’t apply for physical Debit card or order check books.
Kotak has 2 types of 811 account and charges for debit card are different for each along with the min balance.
what is i need cheque book ..what would be the fees.

As per RBI guidelines, it is mandatory to convert to full KYC regular account within 1 year failing which, OTP based account must be closed.
They sent platinum debit card even after mentioning I don’t need. I cancelled it the moment I knew 750/- charges. But now my jifi account has 10k min balance requirement.
Did my full kyc, agent did not asked me to transfer any money. Did finger print and otp and gave me a form thats it. Its zero balance a/c, its written in the form also
Sorry to bump this thread. Want to open A Kotak Full KyC account. If I dont apply for physical debit card, Is there charges levied on cash withdrawal from banks… Any idea guys? And what are the pros and cons of a full kyc kotak account? Tagging @taujipanipat93 who seems to have opened a full kyc account
I didn’t applied for physical dc.
I use only vcc of kotak 811 with full kyc.
It is zero balance.
Did full kyc only for cheque book. To open demat account and apply for ipo

I visited palakkad branch on 4-6-18 . My 365 day period come on 08-6-18. The officers don’t know what to do. When try to full kyc, your account is due for clousure error was receiving. Failed to do kyc,
I called customer care they toldme no need to kyc, my 10000 limited account will remain usable. But now account is full blocked.
Unable to fix appointment, branch don’t know what to do, customer care replies go to Branch.
Given online complaint, manager called me come to office we try or else will close account and open new savings account with minimum balance 10000.
Need to retain that account what as my log subsidy is coming to that account

Same problem. 10k was stuck.
But those dumbasses first fully blocked and after 12 hrs got a message it was unblocked. Transferred ASAP and made zero. Then after 6 hrs ,again a message came that it has been fully frozen. Now everyday 3 messages are coming, once blocked ,next unblocked, then again blocked.
Bunch of dumbasses.
Charged Rs.118 for changing forgotten online password… Bye bye Kotak since then… Idiots…
