Kotak jifi CA
Hello,
I intend to open a Kotak jifi CA.
I have gone through the service charges mentioned here > (http://www.kotak.com/general-schedule-features-...).
I would request anybody already having a JIFI CA to answer my below questions :
1) Account balance above 25k results in “automatically creating term deposits”. I called their CC to ask whether automatically creation of term deposits can be deactivated and she replied in the affirmative. Has anyone given such a request ?
2) Unlike in SB accounts, CC told me that in JIFI CA I wouldn’t be getting a passbook.
If I wish to give someone my JIFI CA for transferring funds (who requires first page of SB passbook) , I can give a canceled cheque leaf. Anyone having cheques of JIFI CA can confirm whether name of account holder is printed on the cheque ?
3) I will not be availing ATM card. I wish to transact via UPI,IMPS,NEFT. How are those services ? Is creation of virtual DC possible in Jifi CA ?
I believe internet banking service will be provided. Correct me if I’m wrong.

2 Personalized cheque book. 10 leaves free, then Rs. 5 per leaf
3 NEFT IMPS works fine, UPI no idea
Internet banking : yes
Virtual cards : yes
I would respond with respect to ease of transfer & yes it is very good
You can transfer upto 50k without adding beneficiary
Best thing is all such transfers are free
Now kotak has Kay Pay for UPI
Kotak mobile banking app also is easy to use
Kotak has Kotak Netc@rd so you can create virtual dc
That term deposit creation happens only when your average balance is 25k, not for normal 25k
After looking at title I thought u got appointment for CA post in Kotak Jifi.
CA stands for Current Account in this case

Here is the reply from Kotak Jifi CC through email :
“automatic formation of Term deposit is know Activmoney facility which is optional to your account type.
You may, or may not opt for the same as per your wish.
The same is with cheque book and Debit card.”
Update :- I spoke to a Kotak representative and he told me that Jifi CA variant is closed.
