Today I received a call from Kotak for credit card. Credit card was pre approved and variant was Kotak League platinum. the executive told limit would be very high and it is the topmost card in Kotak.Joining fees free and Annual charge of 499Rs. waived on spends of 50000. And Bookmyshow voucher on joining.
Anyone having the card please share your reviews.

P.s. I don’t know on what basis it was pre approved. I only have Kotak 811 and that too used pretty much for Tez coupon transactions. I only keep balance of less than 1 Rs. smile Maybe they cross sell data.

One thing i can tell u that i am using this card from last 1 year but u were surprised to know that their reward program is pathetic. You will get Rs. 75 for 1000 reward points. Now i upgraded to Royal Signature but the reward program also at same level. In Royal Signature card u will get Rs. 75 for 400 reward points.

The third party company is luring all 811 account holders. It is not pre-approved. They check the CIBIL and then decide on it. They collect the physical docs at your door step. BTW, they don’t ask salary slip, but ask for employer details.

I got a call today from kotak saying that I’m eligible for a kotak pvr gold credit card.
No joining fees, annual fees.. it’s LTF it seems. And limit is 2.5 lacs.
I had just opened kotak 811 account in April this year, and maintain about average 1.5 K balance. No credit card till now. I’m a student.
Any thoughts/experiences/advice about the card ?

Did you tell them you are a student?
If they still offer the card, just take it. This will build your credit history.
Credit card is a must now a days.
