Its a remote desktop app, it will not harm by its own, if you give full permission to use this app to someone else, he can certainly transfer money to his account.

Its like any other remote control application. You give it permission to handle your phone. It’s similar to handing over your phone to someone else
Even then the person needs UPI pin to transfer money, which they won’t get unless someone is foolish enough to reveal it easily
Title says never download, it can steal money (giving impression like app is faulty)
inside article they mentioned-
“The alert was issued by the RBI’s cybersecurity and IT examination cell. It said that once the app is downloaded on a mobile phone, it seeks permission to access control of the phone like other applications. However, when the permission is granted by a user, AnyDesk app allegedly steals confidential data on the phone to carry out fraudulent transactions through other payments app available on the phone.”
All remote desk apps do work like this, so if anyone don’t know how to use them yes they should not download such apps.
If this app starts giving 10₹ Paytm per download, all dimers will forget RBI warning in 2 seconds 😂😂
