This is going to be a good device considering the specs in competition to One Plus. Lenovo also launched couple of accessories.
Lenovo Z2 Plus will go on sale on Amazon on 25th sep.
Now all depends on camera quality.
ANY BANK DISCOUNTS ON 2-6 OCT SALE
Please guys chime in with your inputs regarding this. This might very be my very first smartphone. Waiting since 2014! Oneplus 3 is undoubtedly my first choice but that would require another 4 months of waiting(until my exam results are published). The main thing that concerns me is the software. How easy is to unlock the bootloader, root access and app incompabilities if any. Also if there are any major hardware issues?
link please.

There’s a guide for unlocking bootloader
So rooting should be easy but i am not sure there are any custom roms for this device
Once this device gets popular, may be we will get more roms as it is a snapdragon device and snapdragon devices usually get good developer support
seems promising
Only if it had CM or stock android

Atleast it comes with google now launcher.
This is a good pricing.
They ditched softkeys and took the iPhone route which even Meizu follows. 1 home button for all the functions and they have named it as U-touch 2.0
If one thing I hate about Zuk Z2 Plus then it’s this feature. On iPhone it’s fine and comfortable using it cos that was there forever but on an android phone it’s hell irritating and it’s difficult to get used to it specifically for people like me. I faced same issue when I purchased Meizu m2 note.
Rest specs looks very good for the price and camera part I feel going to be average only.
CyanogenMod needed for this phone let’s see.
I would’ve surely purchased if it was 5.2 to 5.5 inches cos already have a 5 incher OPX.
MI 5s launching coming week and hopefully they will bring it to India also and I feel MI may cut prices of MI5 to below 20k
New Flagship Killer
This is the price Xiaomi Mi5 should’ve launched at. Idiots. Well, price drop incoming

LeEco pro 3 is also competting…
so
Lenova ZukZ2
LeEco pro 3 – Snapdragon 821 SoC with 5.5 inch and 16 MP, f/2.0 (bigger ensor size give high quality low light images)
Mi5
if the LeEco priced 18k to 20k means, that will beat all
Very good pricing & specs but Lenovo name makes me think twice, several times.
Just ordered Le 2 on 19th Sept (not yet delivered) due to good exchange price & discount but pricing of this phone makes me think we are about to see some more future phones to be launched in this price range otherwise just like Redmi Note 3, this might seize a good chunk of market (if it works quite well without major issues).
@getready Are you going to buy this??

GSMArena mentions near-stock Android Marshmallow. This was also mentioned in their review of K4 Note.

This one has a skin but looks like lenovo is using google apps n not their skipped app versions of mail, clock n stuff
And they are using stock android icons to give it a stockish look

Looks good now check the le eco move . Damn sure the le 2 pro will fall down to 14 to 16k range .the price in China has already fallen to that level . Wait a few weeks you will see amazing discounts on le2 pro as well . Mi 5 will fall to around 18k to 19k .
