You cant call someone a fraud just because you are not satisfied with the customer care person’s reply. CC people doesn’t have access to everything, sometimes they just bluff things. Its upto you to keep contacting them or not for your issue to get resolved during so called exception cases

There was issue with SBI card payments during August Great Indian sale, payment got deducted but it was declined by amazon
Happened to many people including me, OP got 8k stuck and my 49k. And they never acknowledged that they received the payment from my SBI card. After so many days, people got refund because of too many escalations
So, as amazon support person denied that they never received payment i should start calling them as frauds?

Yes that’s the point. Fraud is a big word, and it might be offensive for the people who loves little for the discounts they offer.

Now I just keep away from apps with bad customer service. Don’t have time for dealing with such stuff. Better to pay 10rs extra than losing 100rs mobile balance.

Guys, just be aware that there are many fraudsters who are exploiting the unsecure and easy to crack security of the gift cards/vouchers ecosystem. This is why some of us end up with used/redeemed codes.

The apps/sites issue and accept only a single alphanumeric code where the actual dynamic portion of the code is limited to only 4-5 characters. It’s laughable that there is still no additional PIN required for many of the gift cards. Once you recognize the pattern of the codes by analyzing a few genuine codes, it’s pretty easy to generate other working codes. Some fraudsters are exploiting this weakness with automated bots to check and redeem gift vouchers. This happened with the Happilo-Mobikwik promotion as well.

One a$$wipe even offered to buy my used Happilo voucher codes. Since I realized what he was up to, I told him to get lost. But I am sure some unsuspecting users must have fallen into his fraud. So NEVER respond to requests from fraudsters who ask you for used promo/voucher codes.
