The cabinet put an ordinance to reduce the salaries of all Members of Parliament by 30 per cent for one year.
The Cabinet also approved the temporary suspension of the MPLAD (Members of Parliament Local Area Development Scheme) Fund during 2020-21 & 2021-22. The consolidated amount of MPLAD Funds for 2 years – Rs 7900 crores – will go to Consolidated Fund of India.

The President, Vice President, governors of states have also voluntarily decided to take a pay cut as a social responsibility.
If they simply cut their personal visits, I can bet more money/man hours can be saved in same duration.
Each official visit has attached personal visit like site seeing/mantadory pilgrimage, who pays, we pay it

When mp /mla salary are cut, for sure others will also take cut esp the keyboard warriors who think they are safe and have a cushy job 😒
